Sculpture Archive

Physical works in bronze, basalt, and tension.

Sixteen editions produced across five years of studio casting, computational milling, and counterweight balance systems.

Studio Bodies

Three distinct investigations

Each series explores a single physical resistance: gravity, tensile friction, or thermodynamic cooling.

Lost-Wax Castings

Equilibrium Arms

Tension Basalt

Algorithmic lattices translated into solid silicon bronze through lost-wax foundry pours, hand-patinated with sulfur and heat.

Kinetic counterweight sculptures balanced on hardened knife-edge steel bearings, responding to ambient air currents without motors.

Quarried basalt slabs split along natural fault lines, restrained by machined stainless steel cables torqued to calculated loads.

Plates & Studies

Material documentation

Detailed object records showing patination layers, milled structural tolerances, and joint interfaces.

Curatorial Note

The computational model defines the boundary condition, but bronze shrinkage and stone cleavage complete the sculpture.
